The Finance and Taxes Collectors Offices
are Open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

The Chief Financial Officer supervises
all aspects of the Finance and Tax Departments. All financial transactions relating to the revenues and disbursements of the Township are assigned to the Finance Department.
All funds received are invested
and/or disbursed in accordance
with the annual budget.

ROCHELLE PARK TAX BILLS - The Township of Rochelle Park will not be mailing the 2007-2008 tax bills until the beginning of August.  The payment grace period has been extended thru August 31, 2007.  Any payments made after the 31^st of August - interest will revert back to August 1^st.

TAX COLLECTION

The Tax Collector is charged with the receipt and collection of all taxes, assessments and other fees both current and delinquent. All funds are remitted to the Finance Department.

It is important to note that the municipal taxes are only a portion of a Rochelle Park property taxpayer's obligation. Three other separate governmental entities, Bergen County government and Rochelle Park Local Public School District, develop and adopt their own budgets to be funded by taxes.

However, New Jersey's fiscal laws require the municipal government of Rochelle Park to serve as a billing and collection agency for all separate entities.
