Deputy Mayor Jayme Ouellette was appointed to serve on the Township Committee in February 2011 due to a vacancy created by Committeewoman Phyllis Strohmeyer. Strohmeyer resigned to take a position with the Bergen County Office for Children.

Born and raised in Buffalo New York, Ms. Ouellette moved to Rochelle Park in 2000, where she resides with her husband Peter a lifelong resident of the township and daughter Megan.  She graduated from St. Elizabeth's College in Madison New Jersey with a BS in Business Administration and Computer Science.

Ms. Ouellette is a Training Manager in the pharmaceutical arena for over 15 years.  She currently works at Cegedim, located in Bedminster New Jersey, supporting one of their largest customers Novartis Pharmaceuticals.  Her background in Training Operations, learning management systems and customer service lends to a beneficial partnership.

Ms. Ouellette is very active within the Rochelle Park community. She has been an officer in the Rochelle Park Republican Club since 2000; she has coached recreational soccer, baseball and is an active volunteer for programs at The Church of the Sacred Heart in Rochelle Park.

Ms. Ouellette also served her country in the United States Air Force.
